She is passionate about helping people get back to the activities they love and, as a certified Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS), she has the skills to work with a variety of acute to persistent conditions. Focusing on the individual, she enjoys hearing people’s stories, working together to create goals, and then guiding clients through appropriate movements to work towards health.
Katie loves learning and believes her profession is called a physical therapy practice because she is always evolving and learning. She spends her continuing education time researching and attending classes focused on concussion rehabilitation, performing artist rehabilitation, and movement system impairments. She stays up to date with the latest research evidence through the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy.
Outside of work, Katie (she/her/hers) spends her time running, backpacking, dancing, gardening, painting, and working on renovating a Victorian home with her husband.
