A proud Midwesterner at heart, Nicholas earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa and his Clinical Doctorate in Utah before beginning his career at a small clinic in Portland, OR focused on running-related injuries. From training local PTs in Haiti, to serving as the Bellingham Blazers team physio, to involvement with national and local efforts representing the profession with the American Physical Therapy Association, Nicholas is passionate about service and advocacy.
As a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist, Nicholas appreciates the ability to collaborate with local surgeons and primary care providers to deliver comprehensive rehabilitative services utilizing innovative techniques and a decade of experience. He is enthusiastic about restoring healthy movement and play, and his primary goal is to empower individuals to realize their potential by becoming active participants in their healing journey.
If you don’t see him in the clinic or at the rink, you may find him and his wife Krissa running/biking around the Chuckanuts, supporting a local pizza joint, digging in the garden, or rolling around with their 4 month old son.
