Kay received both her Clinical Health Studies undergraduate degree and her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Ithaca College in New York. She then moved down under to New Zealand and Australia for several years to travel and work at a physiotherapist clinic. While there, she learned many manual therapy skills and techniques from mentors all over the world, allowing her to establish a strong manual therapy base. Kay also acquired Pilates training, which she loves to use as an exercise technique to help return her clients to different activities. Her passion in physical therapy is looking at each client individually and finding ways to maximize their body’s efficiency in the sports and activities they enjoy. Additionally, Kay has experience treating vestibular disorders and helping people with dizziness and balance conditions.
Kay (she/her/hers) grew up in Breckenridge, Colorado and loves skiing, biking, and hiking (as all mountain people do). While her current sport of choice is running, she competed in gymnastics throughout college and she still enjoys occasionally flipping around. Gymnastics sparked her interest in the human body’s mechanics and the desire to keep exercise interesting for her and her clients. Kay loves travel and being outside.
